Quality Assurance Technician

A high-precision tooling and machining services company is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to support our continued growth. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that both company and customer quality standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of total quality management and will exemplify our core values of People, Integrity, and Excellence in all aspects of their duties and responsibilities.

Reports To: Production & Quality Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Quality Assurance
- Perform in-process inspections as needed, adhering to total quality management principles.
- Communicate with customers and vendors to ensure requirements are met.
- Operate CMM for precise measurements.
- Conduct final inspections and prepare Certificates of Conformance (COC).
Gather and record data as required by the Quality Manager.
Order/Shipping/Receiving
- Inspect incoming materials and scan and upload documents into the ERP system for proper filing.
- Oversee in-process vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials.
- Operate a forklift for material handling when necessary.

Employee will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Qualifications

Must have a High School Diploma
Must be capable of regularly lifting 70 pounds
Must have strong computer skills
Strong attention to detail
Preferred: Experience with blueprints and hand measuring tools
Preferred: Experience with ERP system
